Having a pop up canopy tent will prove to be one of your most important assets at outdoor craft shows. There is just no way you can be without one. I was reading some feedback from one crafter who related her experiences of trying to do a show without a tent canopy. Though she had been making crafts for many years and even worked for a clothing designer, she was new to selling at craft shows. Being rather ambitious one of the first shows she ever did was the Rose Bowl. She got herself all set up and ready to go and was ready for her big day. What she didn't have was a canopy of any kind. It was a hot day out on the asphalt to say the least. As the day went on she started having some real problems with her display. It got so hot being in the direct sun that the glue started melting on a number of her crafts. It was a major disaster! Of course, not only would her crafts be a problem but her too. Being exposed to the sun like that is a sure fire way to get sunburn and possibly end up with heat stroke. For certain, what you can say about the sun you can also say about the rain. The last thing you want is to be doing an outdoor show and find all your hard work getting soaked. Getting yourself at the minimum a 10 x 10 outdoor canopy is well worth the investment. |
